She looked out of the window with a sigh,
Gazed into the sky that rose so high,
All she saw were clouds, gloomy and dark
Like her life, the sun’s rays left no mark,
The clouds had just burst,
But her tears touched the ground first.
Closing her eyes,
She wondered how time flies,
It only seemed like yesterday
She saw someone looking her way,
Her eyes met his gaze,
She couldn’t look away as if caught in a maze,
On top of the world, he made her feel,
Together, each other’s wounds they would heal,
Too good to be true, it seemed to her,
Her dream ended, as if an answer it were,
Her heart, he broke,
Only vacuum, her tears could soak.
She opened her eyes,
Only to see his figure before her rise,
Said his eyes, filled with tears
Losing you is one of my biggest fears,
The silence that filled the void, was the only sound,
In his eyes again, she was bound,
Finally over was her nightmare,
A smile, was all they could wear,
He held her hand, as if to never let go,
This time, time was their only foe.
She looked out of the window with a smile,
Gazed into the sky that rose a while,
All she saw were clouds, beautiful and dense
Like her life, the sun’s rays created a fence,
The clouds had burst,
But a smile spread across her face first.
And as she stood there with him, she realized,
A little love was all it took,
To change how the world looked!
